The game of Kubb, introduced to us by our Norse friends, has become a beloved pastime amongst Swampies. A tournament will be held for the enjoyment of all. Spectators, beginners, and seasoned players are welcome!
Test your skills in the arenas of art and science by entering a piece of work in the populace vote A&S competition. It is beneficial to provide, alongside your piece, a short description of the work and its origin or inspiration.
If you please, submit a sample of your favorite concoctions to our Brewer's competition! This competition shall be split into two categories consisting of beer and mead.
Lastly, we are honored to host our Barony's Bardic competition! Come before our Canton of Gryphonwald, the Barony of Settmour Swamp, and our esteemed Baron and Baroness to compete in our Bardic competition. All who wish to participate please come with a small index card with brief documentation to be presented before the competition begins.
No German feast is complete without Bier. This site has a strict policy regarding outside alcoholic beverages…. only alcoholic beverages purchased from them are permitted. The Elks bar will be open throughout the day for your enjoyment. They are rumoured to have a good selection at excellent prices.

STARTERS
Brezel (Pretzels)
Baked, salted, and soft. You know them and love them. Dipping this in the soup is highly recommended.
Vngerische Kaebsuppen (Hungarian cheese soup)
A soup lovingly made from cottage cheese, sour cream, and feta cheese. We’re not sure where the Hungarians got this recipe, but this simple and delicious dish is sure to delight.
Gesotten Zwibelsalat (Cooked onion salad)
A savory dish of roasted onion and currant, highlighting the natural sweetness of the onion.
Lahs in Teyge (Salmon cakes)
A delightful piece of salmon, gently seasoned and wrapped in dough and baked to a golden brown perfection.
ENTREE
Wildschweinwurst (Wild boar sausage)
This handmade wild boar sausage is Bheithir tested and approved. Savory and smoky, it’s everything you never knew you wanted.
Wildbretwurst (Venison sausage)
More sausage is never a bad thing! Once we Bheithir started making sausages we just couldn't stop. Enjoy this venison sausage made by hand.
Kartoffelpastinake (Mashed parsnip and turnip)
Hearty vegetables slow simmered in milk and mashed together to create a creamy cloud of goodness.
Brat Ruben (Fried root vegetable)
Simple, elegant, and delicious. Lovely root vegetables slow roasted with oil, salt and pepper.
DESSERT
Hwit Moos (Bread pudding)
This ancestor of modern bread pudding hits all the right notes. When topped with the Haerrae Salsae (below), it's a match made in heaven.
Haerrae Salsae (Sauce for the lords)
A cinnamon sauce that was intended for lords and ladies, but it’s so good we thought we should share with everyone. Best eaten served over the Hwit Moos (above).
